In no particular order after the top 3, because nothing really stood out for
me that much this year.
#1 - Roger Manning - Solid State Warrior
#2- The 88 - Over and Over
#3 - Nada Surf - The Weight is a Gift
the rest.....
The Morells - Think About It (a nice return to "Shake & Push" form after a
couple disappointments)
Pernice Brothers - Discover a Lovlier You
The Pozers - Embrace Your Addiction (fuzzy, Orgone Box/Game Theory type pop)
Pushstart Wagon - LA Was Our Alamo
Teenage Fanclub - Man Made
Paul Weller - As Is Now
Billy Bremner - No Ifs, Buts, Maybes
Dum Dog Run - S/T (Rick Altizer makes a record that sounds like the
Dictators. Go figure.)
Feel - Invisible Train
Bill Nelson - Orpheus in Ultraland (after years of boring me to death and
making music to sleep by, the last few years BN has finally embraced that
fact that he is first and foremost a guitar player)
Ike - In Real Life
Neal Morse - Question Mark
Neon - S/T
New Pornographers - Twin Cinema
