Hey Fjeder, how ya doin'? How's Denmark?
I'm not the world's biggest Thin Lizzy fan but their greatest hits slay
me (Boys Are Back in Town, Don't Believe a Word, Waiting For An Alibi,
Chinatown... etc). I was also very fond of the Xmas single ("We Wish
You a Merry Xmas/Jingle Bells") Phil did with Steve Jones and Paul Cook
of the Pistols - I think they called their supergroup the Greedy
Bastards, later shortened to the Greedies for TV consumption. The year
before last, I was playing guitar in a Pistols tribute band - the bass
player, Kev (whose girlfriend is called Bev, in a sort of wonderful way)
was a number 1 Phil Lynott fan and even had a tattoo of PL's face on his
bicep. I went with Kev last year to see a Lizzy tribute band called
Limehouse Lizzy, who were very good - worth seeing if you ever get the
chance.
Happy new year y'all, while I'm on.
