Literally. There are several points in the store -- annoying, the
worst of them directly above the section I'm usually most interested
in, the psych and freakbeat CDs -- where my 6'6" self literally cannot
stand upright.

This does mean, however, that they're usually open until at least 9 or
10 at night, which is useful. I'm much more likely to want to browse
a record store after dinner than after breakfast!

Could be -- I can never convince my wife to go into that store on the
off chance that Mono Mann is in there. She has an intense and
visceral dislike of the guy; apparently, she used to regularly see him
being abusive to service personnel back in the day.
On the other hand, she always loved going to Smash City on Newbury
Street (formerly Mystery Train II), because it was owned and almost
always staffed by her former officemate, Peter Prescott of
Burma/Volcano Suns/Kustomized fame. Sadly, however, Peter closed the
shop about a year and a half ago, around the time that Burma was
starting back up. Good for him, I guess, but it was a great little
store. I miss it.
