Marty's useless trivia #3,426

Boston's Government Center is the namesake of the Jonathan Richman song,
'Government Center'

This track was recorded for Beserkley in the CBS Studios, Folsom Street,
San Fancisco, Spring/Summer 1974.

Since Jonathan did not have a proper band at the time, the session
musicans on this track were The Rubinoos, whom I believe were still
teenagers at the time:

Jonathan Richman: Vocals
Greg 'Curly' Keranen: Bass (originally with the Rubinoos, defected to
the Modern Lovers)
John Rubin: Guitar & Backing Vocals
Tommy Dunbar: Guitar & Backing Vocals (vintage Dunbar guitar solo on
this song)
Donn Spindt: Drums

Producers: Matthew King Kaufman, Glen Kolotkin

Marty
