Any Newbury Comics, my personal fave being #2, in Harvard Square, on
the second floor of The Garage on JFK Street. Runners-up: Twisted
Village, on Eliot Street, also in Harvard Square, and the Allston
location of In Your Ear, on Comm Ave between Pleasant and Babcock
(Pleasant Street stop on the Green Line's B branch), just down the
block from the Paradise.

OK Go at the Paradise, Friday the 29th. That's about it -- January's a
slow month.

If you do happen to go to the Paradise, there's a pair of great
late-night restaurants on the other side of the corner of Comm Ave and
Babcock, a kebab shop called Anadolu and a terrific Chinese place
called Quan's Kitchen that's my favorite restaurant in my
neighborhood.
