My statement that we are freaks was to make that distinction that our actions regarding the purchase, listening, research, etc. of music are are quite different from the rest (and perhaps the majority) of the music buying public.
And we should be aware of that bias when making a statement that today's kids don't have the same passion that an older generation had for music...or using the death of retail stores as a reason for this lack of passion.
