I actually worked at Media Play on the East Side Of Columbus a few
years back. Newly divorced, needing a 2nd job to help pay some bills.
My first manager was cool he kept all the promo music stuff and if you
worked on a Friday Night, Saturday Night or Sunday, he would let you
have first choice of the music promo material that he got for free. I
got some really cool music that way and just recently started making
mix CD's from that stuff. But the next manager I got was a dick and he
only gave us shit that nobody wanted. I quit soon after. I got tired of
doing his job for him while he dissapeared in the back playing video
games.
