Interestingly, David,
this is PRECISELY the complaint my father-in-law voiced whilst working as an
art director on the very first season of SNL !! Needless to say, he switched
series soon afterwards.
Pot may indeed not rule, of course,
but where would some of our fave mid-Sixties sounds be without it?? ;-)
