He is an exceptional guitarist, with a great sound, but in my opinion some
magic has been lacking in both the live floyd shows and the gilmour shows.
Something that used to be there when he and waters played together. Anyway,
since I love quite a few floyd songs he usually covers, I'd go to see him if
I had a cheap ticket and it was in my town, but not if it was a big expense.

There are some Mp3s of him live from a couple of different shows at this
URL. It will also give you an idea of what his previous sets have looked
like.

Audities prog experts,

I know very little about Pink Floyd or Mr Gilmour, but I have an opportunity
to attend a concert in April (@ my expense).

Opinions?
Listening suggestions for what he would perform on this tour?
Other comments?

Regards,

 - michael
