Unless you're Emitt Rhodes or The Vinyl Kings and then it's stimulation by
emulation.
With apologies to those who like these acts....but, again, it's in the ears
of this beholder. If I wanted Paul McCartney and The Beatles I'd buy their
products and not those of the above.
David, I hope you don't think I was lumping all IPO bands in with this
dictum. It was an illustrative way that many here could understand as a
reference point. I could have easily used Led Zeppelin as the reference
point for all heavy rock acts....but the immitators are fewer and farther
between.
