I like that Josh. That is the key. If I watched films based on who
Gene Shalit likes, I'd be frustrated a lot. Now if Michael Wilmington
for one, likes a film, I'm paying attention.
Same it true here. It's not always how much noise is made but who
is making it and is their history of choices likely to be in line
with mine. Obviously, some people give jumping off points for the
band being mentioned to help one decide if it might be their thing or
not (Stewart, Michael Bennett come to mind as being great at this).
But the differences is also part of the fun...
I have to dig out my The Decemberists per it somehow got lost in the
shuffle and I have not given it a fair listen yet. Plus, year end
votes are coming...
