I think he's right, the first time I heard "Hey Julie" I thought Simon and
Garfunkel.

And for the record, I think FOW are brilliant.  I think most of their songs
are instantly catchy, overflowing with great hooks.  They are not
necessarily that innovative, but they certainly aren't retro retreads.  The
songs sound fresh to me.  And, I'd rather hear well written songs that
aren't particularly innovative, than innovative songs that aren't well
written.
