I have been reading this thread with great interest. It's always 
enlightening to see the divergent views we have of artists in the official 
Pop Canon.
I've been listening to "Out of State Plates" pretty consistently for the 
last few days, and though some have dismissed the offerings on the disc as 
disposable (which may or may not be true), I still think that FoW's 
cast-offs are still above most band's best efforts.
You're talking about a pretty high calibre of songwriting when a song as 
insanely catchy as "The Girl I Can't Forget," doesn't make the final cut as 
an A-side.
