I too happened upon the Mid 70's KISS tour
at the old Chicago Stadium (Barn indeed)
with Uriah "Easy Livin'" Heep opening.
As Larry David would say..."Ehh."

My ears rang literally for a long, long time after seeing
SLADE at "the acoustically perfect" Chicago Auditorium
twice around that same time.
10 "Rubber Bullets" CC opened once
and Climax "Couldn't Get It Right" Blues Band opened the other.
(3rd Row and 4th Row respectively)
Slade did crank it WAY past "eleven."

Afterward, I felt like Jack Lemmon staggering around NYC
after the sewer blew in "The Out Of Towners" but worth it!

Seeing Frank Zappa over the years at the Auditorium
still rank among the best shows I have ever seen.

RIP FZ
"Boris"
