Oddly, one of the INXS reality show contestants was also a temp at the law
firm I work at (and a damn good one, I might add). She had no illusions about
the gig; just looked at it as further exposure for her budding singing career.
That said, I have never watched a reality show, other than one episode of
"American
Idol" which made me ill (not for the concept, but for the basis on which
singing ability is judged, which seems to be from the Mariah Carey-Michael Bolton
school), and when I was asked to audition for one, I blew it off. It ain't
rock 'n' roll to me, but to each their own.
