Oh please...the best 'reality' show is the one you live. You can sell your
tv and start hiding in the bushes outside your neighbor's house and live
THEIR lives too...24 hours a day.
If you want to watch clowns doing what looks like something dangerous, go to
a circus. If you want to have an 'Amazing Race', get someone to pay for a
trip around the world and stick pre-arranged, totally controlled obstacles
in your way...just Bruckheimer's office cashing in on the current trend
towards 'mediocrity' in the flatlands...and of course he did it better than
anyone else. If you want to eat sand fleas and compete for an occasional
big mac with a bunch of assholes you wouldn't even let camp on your lawn, go
to jamaica, lose your wallet, and spend your time there anywhere BUT a
resort.
And yes...I do know a lot about this stuff even though I don't watch it...I
read. The same habit has also kept me from sticking my hand in airplane
propellers, feeding the bears, and drinking anything marked, 'toxic',
because I think I'd better see for myself.
