Another wothwhile Christmas comp was a UK fundraiser by a radio station (XFM..I believe) called It's a Cool Cool Christmas (there might be a third Cool in the title) that was done in conjunction with Jeepster Records which featured among other things a track by Grandaddy called Alan Parsons In a Winter Wonderland (they do some wordplay with the pastor parsons line that is clever) and a cover of O Come ,O Come Emmanuel by Belle and Sebastian.Snow Patrol, St Etienne,Low(who have a good Christmas release of their own to look for),Eels,Flaming Lips and Teenage Fanclub are a few others I recall being on it.
It is not a cheap item but there are usually a few on Ebay around this time of year.
If I find a chanc eot dig out my copy later I will post the track listing.
