Couldn't agree more. The Pistols absolutely deserve to be in the hall.
And, of course, they were charlatans to a certain degree. McLaren certainly
was. But
I've still not heard a record -- outside the first Clash album -- that still
sound as vital and savage nearly 30 years
after it was first released.
