Bigger numbnuts than Rolling Stone? WAAF radio, which Stewart
may know (I have no idea if they're still popular in Mass, but when
I was in high school, the station was broadcast from Worcester and
was THE classic rock station for the whole state.)

Rolling Stone had an article where they picked the top 25 albums
of the last 25 years (I forget what year this was), and BOLLOCKS
actually ended up #2. WAAF was going through the list backwards,
playing songs from the albums and I thought "Wow! I'm finally going
to hear the Sex Pistols on mainstream radio!! The moment I've
been waiting for throughout my teens!!!" After they played something
from #3 (PLASTIC ONO BAND), the DJ said "coming up after this
commercial, a song from ALBUM NUMBER ONE!!" Not only didn't
they play the Sex Pistols, they pretended they didn't even exist.

This was the same DJ who played "Lola" and followed it up by
saying "always the first song you think of when you think of the Kinks!!"

I dunno...but I actually sometimes forget they did that song.

Is it any wonder I always hated mainstream radio??
