In theory, I support Zappa's idea. However, I LIKE reading about music, and I
like writing about it. And for people not fortunate enough to be on a groovy
list like this, Mojo or Uncut or Blender (yeah, I know ...) are the places they
have to go to find out about new music.
I subscribe to Blender, and they've pointed me in the direction of at least two
interesting albums every month for the last two years. That's a pretty good
track record.

Frank Zappa summed it up nicely
"Writing about music is like dancing about architecture"
Useless, a waste of time, no need. Honor the music
by listening to it, buying it, talking about it to
others.
