Here's the deal. I Believe in A Thing Called Love is a catchy mofo of
a single but when the guy kicks the vocals up into the Tiny Tim
range, you know it's a half and half deal. Half serious devotion to
power pop craft (Queen / Cheap Trick / Slade) and half complete Piss
take (pre-emptively of course, to fool and amuse the UK rock critics)
But they must be in on the joke because of their Boston inspired
album covers and the Spinal Tap title of the new one "One Way Ticket
To Hell..and Back" (I mean, seriously, how could it be a one way
ticket if it's a round trip back? They MUST be in on it)
