Michael,
Yeah, it is great finding new artists and new music, even at my advanced
age.  Just when you thought you heard it
all.  It reminds me when I was a kid and I discovered an artist I never
heard.  I was out the
next week buying up all their albums.  I was obsessive like that.  If I
liked the band, I had to
have ALL their albums.  These days, I'm a little more picky.  Less
discretionary income and
all that jazz.  The funny thing about upstate NY, I live near Albany, is
that it's very closed-minded
when it comes to music.  It's almost embarrassing when great artists come to
town and have to play
to a half filled auditorium.  Most bands that sell out in other cities have
a hard time here because
no one comes out for live music.  Not like the late 70's early 80's when
even the local artists sold out
their shows.  Anyone out there remember Blotto?
