That Wackers was from the UK -- the same time (64/65) our Segarini was recording
with "Us" for Autumn Records in SF -- only 3 singles in their short life.
From the wayback machine's archive of Tapestry of Delights:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
45s:
1 I Wonder Why/Why Can't It Happen To Me (Oriole CB 1902) 1964
2 Love Or Money/Hooka Tooka (Piccadilly 7N 35195) 1964
3 The Girl Who Wanted Fame/You're Forgetting (Piccadilly 7N 35210) 1965
Although many people think they hailed from Merseyside, they actually
came from Porthmadog in Gwynedd, Wales and decided to give people the
impression they came from Merseyside, in order to appear cooler! The
Wackers also appeared in a pop 'B' movie entitled 'Go Go Big Beat' in
1965. Their founder member Dino is now a taxi driver in Porthadog.
