A shout out to all the Auditeers I met Saturday night in Boston at
the Paradise Lounge....great to see Jay at the merch table, Jim Horan
and the perpetually positive Mr. Brodeen. David Bash out-did himself
yet again with an amazing evening of entertainment.
Personally, it was one of the best IPO shows I've attended in 5
years....stellar line-up including Fireking, Sun Sawed In 1/2 (great
version of the Monkees' "Star Collector" too!), The First Time, and the
absolute best act of the night -- Mike Previti -- who I'd like to
declare as the successor to the Owsley throne.
Bought his 5-song "Audio" CD and played it 27 times during my 11 hour
trip back to Toronto tonight!
Thump in the head though for failing "Rock And Roll Self-Promotion
101".....the CD has *no* contact info on it whatsoever. No website, no
email....not even a city name or phone number. Tsk. Tsk. I would have
signed him too....
The First Time are now off to Japan for a 10 gig tour...check 'em out
