Finally after a month of back ordered date changing, Collectors Choice
finally delivered the Phil Seymour reissue.. what great stuff! A nice
remastering that adds three bonus tracks from the same sessions. It's
truly hard to believe that only PRECIOUS TO ME charted, there's really
a bevy of wonderful single-worthy material on here; I FOUND A LOVE is
one of my favorite power pop tunes PERIOD. Also never considered what a
great drummer Phil was.. he's behind the kit on 7 of the original LP's
11 cuts. Phil wrote only 3 of tunes, but his pals Dwight Twilley & Lead
Guitarist Bill Pitcock IV are responsible for another 4 , and when 2 of
your covers are Bobby Fuller(LET HER DANCE) & Elvis (TRYING TO GET TO
YOU) you know your in good shape!
