I was hoping to find who was asking....

Doll Test is Model Rockets minus John Ramburg. When I was out in Seattle a
couple of weeks ago, this subject came up. According to Graham, they have
rehearsed some, but no one wants to take charge and get them out on stage!

Meanwhile Ramburg has been working on a solo album. At this point all it needs
is drums which Bill Reflin is meant to add. There is a band with Jim and
Johnny Sangster and Mark Pickerel that has rehearsed this material. Jim sort
of hoped that John might consider recording some songs with the band, or even
re-record the album. He didn't think John wanted to do that. Apparently the
songs are very good, and have taken some shape with a band playing them.

As for Sgt Major, they are again drummerless. They were the backing band for a
Who Tribute night on Oct 29th. A week out Mike Mushburger bailed and left
town. Dan Peters took over the drum stool for that, but they didn't think he'd
want to join the Majors. This meant canceling some gigs. There is an album out
on Book, Rich Creamery Butter. I got a vinyl copy too. It's got a bonus 45.

While digging around the shops of Seattle I did turn up the Model Rockets
"Live In Madrid" cd. We were in Spain to see Roy Loney and met up with the
Rockets in an elevator in our hotel. Unfortunately we were headed to London
for some recording sessions, and didn't get to see this gig. Glad I found the
cd, it's a gas...

OK?
