1.  His look-alike son, Albert Hammond Jr, is the lead guitarist in 
the Strokes.

2.  My beloved Half Man Half Biscuit have a song called "Albert 
Hammond Bootleg" that's something of a companion track to the mighty 
"The Bastard Son of Dean Friedman":

"Beware, there's an Albert Hammond bootleg in the house
