I don't know, but I'm guessing not because it doesn't show in cddb.org.
Usually if someone has a cd it's in the database. Also gemm.com shows only
one on CD and it's from a seller with a low rating, so I'm guessing it was
misentered and not a CD but an album. Still it would be worth contacting
them and seeing if they really have it. The listing says they have 2 sealed
CDs in stock, JANDA MUSIC Release Number SS033 (probably could look this up
and see if it's the lp in a discography). Anyway, here is the link to the
gemm listing. Cheers, Gary

...but one that the wide and varied musical tastes of the Audities crowd may
still be able to help me with.
Does anyone know if Johnny Cash's 1981 album, "The Baron," was ever released
on CD?
I know that the album which preceded it - "Rockabilly Blues," featuring a
killer cover of Nick Lowe's "Without Love" - made it to disc...and, if I've
got my discography right, the one which followed it was "Johnny 99," and
that's on CD, too, because I've got it. (The take on Springsteen's "Highway
Patrolman" is phenomenal.)
I've never heard "The Baron," however, and I'm curious to check it out, but
I can't find it anywhere.
