Guess I'm the first one up after last night...Raspberries did not disappoint.
Very, very fine show. Although they didn't sing much, I am stunned at how
good of rhythm section Jim Bonfanti and Dave Smalley are after 30 years away
from the big time...obviously they didn't pack up their instruments in the
interim. Wally Bryson was stunning on guitar, and Carmen still got most of his
notes from the old days (and also displayed some really fine musicianship). The
sound was excellent. I don't think anyone walked away disappointed last
night, and there were some surprising song choices as well ("Makin' It Easy"; "I'm
a Rocker"). My favorite moment (actually a lot longer than a moment) was "I
Can Remember"...they did the whole thing, just about flawlessly.
