It's really great to see all the glowing reviews of the Raspberries show at
The House Of Blues. On the other hand, it makes me all the more bummed that
I had to miss it. My girlfriend and I were actually supposed to be there,
but on the way to the show she started having some severe stomach pains, so
I took her back home and stayed with her to make sure she was ok.
Fortunately, by Sunday she was.
I surely hope they're able to do another show out here sometime (preferably
a time where I'm not doing IPO in LA or elsewhere), and that I get to see
them. It might be my only opportunity to see a band on two occasions more
than 30 years apart! :-)
And yes, it would be great if Eugene Edwards could open for them!
