Hi Gary,
I don't believe the show was sold out Friday night.  It was full, but I believe there were tix available.
Wally was by far the MVP IMHO, although the whole band was really good.  I don't believe there were any Beatle cover's in Friday night's set.  He may be confusing the Searcher's Needles & Pins as a Beatle tune.
I thought the show was really good.  "I Can Remember," "Let's Pretend," "Go All The Way" & "I Wanna Be With You," were worth the price of admission.
Yes, I too believe poor Eric has had his face pulled a little too tight.  
BTW:  Where were the audities member's holding court?  I saw quite few familiar faces, but missed a lot too.  Would've been nice to say hello to Bruce, etc...
