My first favorite was separated at birth (or maybe ripped off) from
Synchro's:  A Summer Song by Chad and Jeremy.

'64 was a time to have a new favorite song every week, or so it seemed
if you were smote by the British Invasion like me:  Glad All Over and
Bits And Pieces and Because and all the other great Dave Clark Five
records, You Really Got Me, House Of The Rising Sun, I'm Into Something
Good, all the Hard Day's Night - centered Beatle records (I wasn't a I
Want To Hold Your Hand guy, but I only had to wait a few months for the
ones I loved to get here)...
