Hi Jamie,

You could be confusing Vince Guiraldi's version (instrumental) with We
Five's version, which was vocal, rather than instrumental. And Vince
Guiraldi's version should rightfully have that 'Peanuts' feel....if
memory serves, Guiraldi's 'Linus and Lucy'  served as the theme music
for the first Peanuts cartoons on TV.
