The Egyptians were the handpicked opening act on the GREEN tour: Peter
Buck was a massive Soft Boys fan, and constantly namechecked the band
as a crucial influence on R.E.M. in the early days. That's also Pete
on guitar on "Flesh Number One" and "Madonna of the Wasps," among
other tracks.
