If you guys get a chance to catch him on his tour, you will not be disappointed! John played 2 great sets last night in Columbus. I really dug his new songs. Also a case of irony when a gal in the bar was having a 23rd birthday at Midnight and we insisted John play his favorite tune of mine "Birthday Girl" at the stroke of the witching hour. Which John did and sounded great, but he sheepishy replied, "This song is not really a Birthday Song!" (on another note I always think of Tom Petty cutting the cake of the gal when I hear John tune). But that got me thinking, anybody have any other songs that the title or meaning is utterly different or some sort of Inuuendo? I can think of "Rosie" by Jackson Browne , I used to thik it was about a gal, not a hand.LOL Anyway catch John on tour, you won't be sorry!
