I used to see him every time he came through San Francisco during that same 
time period, which he did often enough for a while because the Cynthia of 
"Cynthia Mask" fame lived there then and they were a couple. He moved to SF 
for a time too. A friend of mine worked at a record/book store on Judah 
Street in the Inner Sunset district, and every now and then Robyn would come 
in, eventually making his way behind the counter where he would wait on 
stunned customers and pontificate in his usual obfuscatory fashion. 

Them was the days -- er, daze.
