...you might want to check out The Domino Kings, a
Springfield, MO band produced by Lou Whitney of The
Morrells. If Walter and his posse were more roots
oriented, this is what they would come up with. There
are a few Nick Lowe/Clevenger-ish pop nuggets with
some swell roots rock. Really good album.
Speaking of The Morrells, I finally scored a copy of
their album Shake and Push on CD. It goes for a
pretty penny on EBay and other online places. Imagine
my delight when I found it in the new arrivals section
at Reckless Records for $5.
