It is for me. While I enjoy good tribute albums they often leave me 
wanting to check out the original artists or sometimes the solo work 
of the group/artist playing on the tribute disc.  Honestly, for me, 
after the new shine wears off of the tribute disc, I don't play them 
much. Even the really good ones (even though I always want to hear 
them and think they can be great fun). But that's just me. I know 
other's love em.
