Just so that David doesn't get too lonely out on that limb, I'll make a true-confessions admission that I think "Candida" is a fantastic song. But by that I mean that I would love to hear it covered by someone in a less treacly manner than the original, one that doesn't threaten to make me lose my half-digested breakfast whenever I hear it.
