Oh, I don't know. I've seen this list rave over Cloud Eleven,
Wondermints, Splitsville, Cherry Twister, Myracle Brah, and other indie
acts that I'm less into. I think the groups with the more universal
(among powerpop fans) appeal generate the most chatter.
Bruce, like most of the people here, you have a really good ear for great
music. If you hear something you love and think we'd love it too, please
post about it even if it's on your own label.
Let's start with the new Not Lame comp Hooks Heaven. I got it yesterday
and listened to it last night while I was working, and a LOT of the
tracks had me grabbing for the insert to see who it was. I'm going to
have to follow up on some of these bands as my favorite songs settle to
the top. Really people, $3 for 41 songs, add it to your next NL order.
