Like Bruce I try and limit the amount of self-promotion on the list until
the conversation threads point in that direction (then lookout cause I'm
going to hawk my wares). I appreciate other labels posting their new
releases here like Tall Boy and even when Bryan is working on some Rhino
project. It's a healthy barometer of the activity that *is* going on in the
indie music scene or, at the very least, in the mainstream industry that
interests people on this list. The Wackers' Collector's Choice re-issues as
an example. Not my label, but fine products and ones that directly impact
one of my artists....so thumbs up to anyone putting in the effort to inform
and educate the list on what is going on out there. We all can't read
Amplifier, Big Takeover and Yeah Yeah Yeah on a regular basis (I know I
don't have the time). So bring it on....
And if it's okay with the list I'll post related stories and releases that
have no Klaatu content :-)
