Not entirely true, since Gwyneth *did* originate the role on stage in
London.  Nevertheless, she's certainly never been considered a stage
presence to reckon with, and I'd say casting her was more stunt-casting than
anything.  (But at least it wasn't, say, Rosie O'Donnell.)

Putting this is a vaguely music-oriented context, anyone think Gwyneth and
Chris Martin named their offspring Apple after the label?  Or maybe Sir Paul
should sue them, too... :-)
