it has been getting.
I saw the play a few years back when my wife and I were in NY. Only it
was with Jennifer Jason-Leigh in the title role. I thought it was a
very good play and she was very good. I wish I had seen it with it's
first star, Mary Louise-Parker (I think she would have been perfect for
the role). But, Paltrow, in this role...I won't bother. When she goes
dark she tends to over do it in a "one note" sort of way...(IMO, and
admittedly without seeing her in this film). Plus, it annoys me that
she get's the film role over the stage actors.
My next not to miss is "Capote" with Philip Seymour Hoffman and
Catherine Keener (two actors I love to see).
