I cannot recall how much material is in the Danish tongue but there are quite a few bands from Denmark that are more in an indie alternative pigeonhole.
Learning From Las Vegas (kind of a Yo La Tengo style)
Embellish (mostly female fronted indiepop)
Sterling (alternative compared to Radiohead and Pixies)
Powersolo (have not heard but they sing in Danish) mmmmm danish...sorry lapsed into Homer Simpson for a minute.
Superheroes ( vary from poppunk to 80s synthpop ).
18th Dye are half German and half Danish. Shoegaze not unlike Slowdive and My Bloody Valentine. They are just now reforming after splitting about 10 years ago.
I think Sister Sonny might be Danish as well.
I hope that helps.
