Yeah, I saw it too Pat....I almost had to change my Depends I was so excited!
Rick Gallego is a majorly underappreciated talent (except by those on this list).
Of course, I could say that about just about every band I've "discovered" from being on Audities or ordering from Notlame.

A NEW CLOUD ELEVEN ALBUM COMING IN 2006!
The fourth Cloud Eleven album, as yet untitled, is in the process of being
recorded and looks to be released sometime in 2006, most likely in the
summertime. It's being recorded at home on an 8-track analog machine and is
shaping up quite nicely. Rick is recording most of it himself, with valuable
assistance from Nelson Bragg on percussion and vocals, and Zane Drake on
various stringed instruments. Other guest musicians will also be adding
their personal stamp to these recordings in the coming months. The sound
this time is a more laid back, acoustic vibe than shown on previous
releases, with Rick playing the pedal steel guitar for an added dimension -
without losing the melodic/harmonic textures of past recordings. A full drum
kit is being replaced this time with the looser percussive sounds of tabla,
bongos, shakers, etc. Stay tuned for more info on this exciting new release!
