Hey Jason,
First thanks for the info. I've been thinking about checking them out
again. The reason that has been on my mind is I bought The Specials
self titled disc recently. I had a similar reaction to the one you
had with Madness. Many of the songs that I didn't fully appreciate
at the time I now do and thus like the full disc now much better then
I liked the album back then (that doesn't happen that often). The
real stand out track that I didn't appreciate then but LOVE now
is "Concrete Jungle". What a terrific song. Anyway, I've been
planning to spring to get the the Specials second disc (weaker?) and
then maybe I'll revist Madness again.
