The September 2005 Fufkin.com page is up. This month
we have the following record reviews:

Mike Bennett presents full length reviews of the new
New Pornographers, solo debuts from Rob Dickinson of
The Catherine Wheel and Steve Dawson of Dolly Varden,
Saint Etienne and The Bomb. Mike also has capsule
reviews of the debut of Jose Gonzalez and the latest
from The Red Thread, The Get Quick, The Jan Mertens
Frustration, Sons And Daughters, The Consultants, The
Volebeats, Sexsmith & Kerr, Black Rebel Motorcycle
Club, a Daniel Wylie collection and reissues new
(Eugene Edwards) and old (Bob Seger).

Gary Glauber reviews the new OK Go, The Pozers, Dave
Dill, The Click Five and a reissue of orch-pop
progenitors Cardinal.

Michael Lynch is a Rolling Stones expert (see some of
our back issues) and he weighs in on the Stones’
latest.

Gary Pig Gold talks to Dominic Priore, a Beach Boys
expert, who has written a book on the story of Smile.

Power popper Michael Carpenter has a new band project,
The Supahip. Mike Bennett gets the scoop behind the
project in an exclusive interview with the affable
Australian.

Speaking of nice guys, Jeremy Morris is a force in the
power pop world, both as a prolific recording artist
and as the man behind Jam Records. Robert Pally poses
some questions to Mr. Morris.

Kevin Matthews is back with So Much Music, So Little
Time – apparently one of the reasons he has so little
time is that he is buying comic books. But he’s still
listening to music and has opinions on a lot of stuff,
including Maximo Park, the reunited Barracudas (!),
Kaiser Chiefs, Supergrass, Gomez, British Sea Power,
The Decemberists and more.

I’m not sure where Eric Sorensen stands on comic
books, but he loves good music. In this installment
of Further Observations of a Jangly Music Fan, Eric
gives the lowdown on some recent shows he’s seen, and
discusses discs from Daniel Wylie (ex-Cosmic Rough
Riders), Beagle Ranch, The Barracudas, Hanna & McKuen,
The Dipsomaniacs and more.

We hope you all come and visit us.
