The standard of musicianship in the band was always really high, and they
always played really well together, but they had kind of a rep for sloppy shows,
largely to due to unreliable gear, which has been upgraded in the years since.
BTW, since the Turtles came up here recently, listers in the NY/NJ area might
be interested to know that Flo and Eddie's modern-day incarnation of the band
are headlining the Hoboken street fair this Sunday afternoon. They're always
a blast live, and it's free....
