I wanted to put in a plug for an indie movie that
might be hitting a town near you. Here is the link.

My introduction to the film was a showing here in Los
Angeles and I only heard about it because the female
lead is played by Shelly Frasier, who happens to be
married to John Hoskinson, of "Miscellaneous Heathen"
cd fame.
The story is involved and complicated, but it's a
CLASSIC parody of many different things...Christian
rock, obsessive collectors, theme barber shops, uhhh
and so much more. It's filmed in mockumentary style
and the details are what really make this film click
for me. Even the website is over the top, with
several fake websites linked throughout, even the
Christian Rock band in the movie plays concerts now
and then when the movie is showing. (they are called
The Christers, by the way.)
Anyway...check out the site, check out the trailer,
and see if it's coming to a theater near you. I
highly recommend it.
