On impulse, I picked up "Happy Together: The Very Best of The Turtles", and I find that I have been playing this CD over and over again. This "best of" was put out by Shout Factory and contains some nice pictures and notes on each song by both Howard Kaylan and Mark Vollman. Truthfully, I only knew 3 of their songs and those 3 were probably their biggest hits; "Happy Together", She'd Rather Be With Me" and "Elenore". The big surprise. (for me anyway) was that the other 11 songs on this album are just as good, if not better. The track by track notes by Howard and Mark contain a lot of the venom toward the music industry that would show up in their later Flo and Eddie incarnation.

My question to you all is:
Are any of non-best of Turtles or Flo and Eddie albums worth seeking out?

Thanks,
Mark E..
